BusDénia arrives in the city with a new network, a sustainable fleet and improvements designed to make everyday travel easier.
Dénia takes a step forward in its mobility with the launch of BusDénia, a new urban bus service designed to make everyday journeys easier, offering a clearer, more accessible and more city-focused travel experience.
The new BusDénia starts with a fully redesigned network of 5 urban lines, created to better connect the town centre, the port, residential areas, the coastline —both towards Les Marines and Les Rotes— and key facilities such as Dénia Hospital and La Pedrera. This new structure makes it easier to move around the city, with simpler routes and improved connections between areas.
The service is also adapted to the reality of Dénia, with regular year-round timetables, reinforced during peak periods to respond both to the needs of residents and to the city’s strong seasonal demand.
To operate this network, a fleet of six hybrid vehicles and one electric vehicle has been deployed, including buses with Euro 6 technology. This combination allows the service to adapt to the characteristics of each route while reducing environmental impact and improving travel comfort. All vehicles are fully accessible for passengers with reduced mobility, ensuring an inclusive service for everyone.
BusDénia also introduces a new, simplified range of tickets, designed to suit different types of users. Passengers can choose between 10-trip or 40-trip tickets for general use, as well as discounted options for young people and those aged 65 and over, with a clearer and more user-friendly system.
Digitalisation and real-time information
BusDénia also improves how passengers access information. Through the website busdenia.com and a dedicated mobile app, available for free on iOS and Android, users can easily consult routes, timetables and service details.
Both the website and the app provide real-time information, including live bus tracking, making it easier to plan journeys and offering a more reliable and convenient user experience.
